Thanks to an influx of new restaurants, Westport’s historic downtown hub is now home to one of the most walkable and diverse dining scenes in KC.

From the Taiwanese street food restaurant Chewology, which we dubbed Best New Restaurant of 2022 back in December, to the beloved Mediterranean cuisine at Jerusalem Café, the options are endless for hungry diners.

This month, six restaurants will be part of Westport’s first International Food Week taking place April 23 – April 29. Each restaurant will showcase a specialty menu featuring a variety of signature dishes.

Here’s a list of participating restaurants:

Brix, serving Latin American dishes at 4112 Pennsylvania Ave.

Ça Va offering French cuisine at 4149 Pennsylvania Ave.

Chewology featuring Taiwanese cuisine at 900 Westport Rd.

Chingu focused on Korean street foods at 4117 Pennsylvania Ave.

Jerusalem Cafe presenting Mediterranean cuisine at 515 Westport Rd.

Kobi-Q Sushi showcasing Japanese cuisine at 425 Westport Rd.

Menus will offer everything from coursed meals to internationally-inspired drinks. The Korean-inspired restaurant, Chingu, was just recently reviewed for this month’s issue and, spoiler alert, you’re going to want to check it out.
