Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The role of a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor is to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons.

Kansas City magazine’s annual Top Doctors list is compiled by a trusted national health care research and information company, Castle Connolly. A physician-led team of researchers follows a rigorous screening process to select top doctors through a nomination process that is open to all licensed physicians in America. The results are then carefully screened. Doctors do not and cannot pay to be selected for the Top Doctors list.
