Havana and Kansas City intersected for one sold-out night for KVC’s Gala at The Abbott. Vintage cars lined the street as guests arrived. Inside, partygoers enjoyed delicious cuisine and hand-rolled cigars, played Heads or Tails and danced to the music of Lost Wax. Frank Boal led the live auction, with all proceeds benefiting children and families in crisis through foster care, adoption services and KVC’s children’s psychiatric hospitals.
