The cover story in the April issue of Kansas City magazine, in mailboxes and on shelves now, is all about Big Ideas to remake the city.
The ideas are, admittedly, a big uneven—some are so obvious it’s amazing they have not yet been done, while others are what Silicon Valley types call “moonshots.”
This morning, Nicole Bradley logged on to chat about four of the ideas with our news partner Fox 4.
Among the topics she discussed are the possibility of building a marina on the Missouri River near downtown (it would be a place for boaters to launch and enjoy a cold one after spending time on the river, and might be part of a larger development on the waterfront) and Cerner’s push to make the definitive proof-of-vaccination app so that you don;t have to carry around a fragile paper card to show you got your shots.
