The Kansas City Zoo’s annual after-hours party, Jazzoo, is one of the city’s most popular fundraising events. The “creative black tie” event is held the first Friday in June, and this year’s theme, Safari Soiree, is sure to bring out all the party animals.
Every year, thousands come to roam around the zoo and nibble on bites from hundreds of local food and drink vendors, as well as dance the night away with live music and entertainment provided throughout the venue. The event raises funds for educational and research programs offered at the zoo. Check out these pictures from last year’s bash, and to find out more about how to go to this year’s soiree, head to kansascityzoo.org.
