It’s Halloween weekend—here are 4 spots to get cider and doughnuts

Ask Kansas Citians about their favorite parts of Halloween and pumpkin spice doughnuts are sure to come up quickly. Around these parts, apple cider and warm, seasonally spiced doughnuts are as much a part of the season as KitKats and witch hats. Check out a few of our favorite spots serving hot, fresh apple cider and doughnuts around KC this Halloween weekend.

Louisburg Cider Mill

The iconic red face of the Louisburg Cider Mill and its waterfall of apples are the symbols of eastern Kansas autumn. This weekend is your last chance to venture through the ten-acre corn maze or pick out handcrafted gifts at the arts and crafts booths. And you can get your doughnuts and cider hot or cold.

14730 K-68 Highway, Louisburg, KS.

Carolyn’s Pumpkin Patch

Fresh pumpkin donuts are tucked between Highway 210 and 291. Carolyn’s Pumpkin Patch offers wagon rides, games, petting zoos, and more. Plus, there are local wine and wine slushies to pair with your pumpkin donuts.

17607 NE 52nd St., Liberty, MO.

Faulkner’s Ranch

There are also fresh doughnuts and chilled cider for sale at Faulkner’s Ranch in Raytown this Halloween weekend. The ranch offers a rowdy, country-fried alternative to more demure pumpkin patches, boasting several large bouncy attractions, pony rides, petting goats and a corn cannon that blasts cobs across a pond.

10600 Raytown Road, KCMO.

LaMar’s Donuts

Want to get the best part of the experience without clomping around a pumpkin patch? Well, Kansas City’s most popular doughnut shop chain goes heavy on Halloween with Pumpkin Spice Glazed Cake Doughnut that has cream cheese icing and a seasonal spice blend.
