Our KC Chiefs win football’s biggest game once again and now it’s time to celebrate.
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas announced a city-wide celebration and parade for Wednesday. School Districts across the metro have already cancelled school for the day, so everyone has a chance to participate.
The festivities will start at 11 a.m. with a parade that beginning at Grand Boulevard and Sixth Street. The parade route will head south on Grand Avenue to Pershing Road and then turn west, then north onto Main Street where it will end at Union Station. A victory rally will begin right around 12:45 in front of Union Station.
“I want to congratulate the Kansas City Chiefs on another well-earned Super Bowl victory,” said Kathy Nelson, president and CEO of the Kansas City Sports Commission and Visit KC in a press release.
