Waldo Thai
Enjoy a unique Valentine’s Day dinner curated by the James Beard award nominee executive chef Pam Liberda. Priced at $100 per person, the menu begins with an amuse bouche and soup to start and is followed by a family-style, multi-course dinner. Craft drinks will be paired for each course. The Stilwell in Loews Kansas City Hotel
The hotel-based restaurant is offering a special coursed menu at $75 per couple with a $45 optional wine pairing. The first course is the signature aphrodisiac item, oysters on the half shell, followed by a berry salad. The main course is a Creekstone Farms ribeye with bone marrow mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and a shrimp and mushroom romesco. For dessert, the Sweetheart Brownie paired with a raspberry rose sorbet and toasted chocolate meringue. The coursed meal is available Feb. 10, 11, and 14. Strang Reserve
Strang Reserve is a brand-new event space located next door to the chef collective, Strang Hall in downtown Overland Park. Introducing the space is Strang Hall chef, Dai’Quon Watts with his Valentine’s Day five course dining experience. The coursed menu, inspired by cinematic couples, includes unique dishes like beef tartare, purple potato crusted cod, and coffe-crusted steak with red wine onion jam. Lula Southern Cookhouse
Situated in the heart of the Crossroads, Lula’s extensive prix-fixe Valentine’s Day menu is priced at $130 per couple. The menu is available on Feb. 10-11 along with their regular menu, and on Feb. 14 as the only menu. The dinner features Cajun deviled blue crab, oyster and bacon chowder, fried chicken with gumbo gravy and plenty more. Make reservations here.
Seasons 52
Seasons 52 boasts of a menu in which every item is under 595 calories, including the indulgent desserts of Belgian chocolate s’mores and raspberry chocolate chip cannolis. The full menu will be available for Valentine’s Day diners but if you’re looking for a romantic night in, the Season 52 Green Box dinner for two includes filet mignon, mashed potatoes, broccolini, salad, dessert, and a bottle of wine. Chewology
The Taiwanese street food restaurant was name our Best New Restaurant of 2022 and is hosting a unique Valentine’s Day dinner – Duck Three Ways. The dinner breaks down a whole duck, beginning with roasted duck in a Taiwanese crepe and followed by dishes of duck stir fry and noodles with duck bone broth. The coursed meal includes dessert and a welcoming cocktail. Dinner with be offered Feb. 9-11 and on Valentine’s Day. Reserve here.
Eddie Vs
The steakhouse offers live music and its full menu for the romantic holiday, with options like center-cut filet mignon, South African lobster tail, and Chilean sea bass steamed Hong Kong style. KC Wineworks
For the entire month of February, KC Wineworks in the Crossroads will be serving Valentine’s Day themed cocktails along with their regular wine tastings. No reservations needed.
