Grant L. Davis
Grant L. Davis is a founding partner of DBJ: Davis, Bethune & Jones and one of the nation’s most accomplished trial lawyers. Over the course of his career, Davis has secured dozens of multi-million-dollar jury verdicts—including a historic $2.2 billion verdict—while building a national reputation for relentless advocacy and courtroom excellence. The DBJ team brings decades of courtroom experience, strategic firepower, and relentless determination to every case they pursue.
Davis currently serves as one of the lead trial lawyers for the upcoming Bellwether trials of the Camp Lejeune litigation, where Marines and their families were exposed to toxic drinking water that caused cancer and other devastating illnesses. He is also currently appointed as the lead plaintiffs’ counsel in a major Amtrak derailment case that killed four
passengers and seriously injured more than 150 others.
Throughout his career, Davis has represented many deserving clients seeking justice. He chose plaintiffs’ law because it allows him to stand up for individuals harmed by powerful corporations and other wrongdoers. Many clients come to him during the most difficult moments of their lives and helping them obtain accountability and justice gives
meaning to his practice.
Davis’s trial experience spans a wide range of complex cases, including defective products, helicopter crashes, business fraud, trucking cases, pharmaceutical litigation, and many others. Known for meticulous preparation and relentless advocacy, he devotes himself to every detail of a case—tracking down leads, interviewing witnesses, and uncovering the evidence needed to achieve the best possible result. At Davis Bethune & Jones, the philosophy is simple: the firm does not just take cases—it takes causes it believes in and goes toe-to-toe with powerful opponents to deliver justice for its clients.
