Nobel Prize-Winner Dr. Michael W. Young
Nobel Laureate Dr. Michael W. Young has been studying circadian rhythms, or biological clocks, for four decades. Young’s groundbreaking research has led to a greater understanding of sleep and mood disorders, jet lag and humans’ general well-being. During this fascinating free program, Dr. Young will discuss his findings in “Genes That Regulate Sleep and Circadian Rhythms.”

New Moves
One of KC Ballet’s most popular performances, New Moves allows audiences to experience new and never-before-seen contemporary ballet choreography. This limited-run production gives both dancers and audience members a rare opportunity to see exciting new dance creations in an intimate setting.

Holst’s “The Planets” Featuring the Women of the KC Symphony Chorus
Guest conductor Teddy Abrams brings two out-of-this-world celestial pieces, The Observatory by Caroline Shaw and The Planets by Gustav Holst, to life alongside violinist Jennifer Koh and the women of the KC Symphony chorus in a sweeping and majestic reflection of the grandiosity of outer space.

This upscale, vintage-inspired market returns with over one-hundred unique vendors hawking artisanal homegoods and hand-crafted items, along with food, live music and makers workshops.

Luv Is 4ever Tour
Rappers J.I.D. and Smino are teaming up for their nearly sold-out international “Luv Is 4ever Tour.” Atlanta’s J.I.D.’s 2022 EP The Forever Story received widespread acclaim, while St. Louis native Smino’s 2022 album Luv 4 Rent brought smooth, melodic beats and a more relaxed R&B style.

After All: 60 Years of Cher!
In collaboration with acclaimed composer and arranger David Maddux, the Heartland Men’s Chorus celebrates the life and music of pop culture icon Cher through “After All: 60 Years of Cher!” The group will be honoring her lasting legacy through unique choral performances of hits throughout the decades like “Strong Enough” and “Believe.”

‘Curtis on Tour’
Igor Stravinsky’s exciting tale of trickery and magic, L’Histoire du Soldat (The Soldier’s Tale), comes to life through an ensemble of musicians from the Curtis Institute of Music along with actor John de Lancie’s narration, David Shifrin on clarinet and prominent violin recitalist Soovin Kim.
