Mini Golf At The Museum
It’s back! A summer highlight, Art Course offers an artist-designed mini-golf adventure within the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park at the Nelson-Atkins Museum. Every Friday through Sunday, you can play nine unique holes, each offering a creative spin on a masterpiece from the museum’s collection.

The Lehman Trilogy
This 2022 Tony Award-winning play by Stefano Massini, adapted to English by Ben Power and directed by KCAT Company Member John Rensenhouse tells the century-spanning story of ambition and a family company that changed the world. The Lehman Trilogy follows the Lehman Brothers and their descendants as they fight for the American dream, building their business empire in 1840s Alabama to early-2000s New York City.

Disney100: The Exhibition
Featuring over 250 artifacts, props, and costumes, Disney100: The Exhibition gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Disney’s most popular characters, films and shows. KC is one of the first three cities to host the North American tour of this special, historic exhibit.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit
Based on the popular children’s TV show, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood exhibit touches on the show’s central themes, like community and emotions, and brings life to the world of Daniel Tiger and his friends. In the exhibit, children can play, sing, explore and make-believe in their favorite, familiar places from the Neighborhood.

The Cher Show
Based on the incredible 50-plus year career of icon Cher, this 2018 Tony Award-winning jukebox musical by Rick Elice tells the life story of Cher through her songs. In The Cher Show, Cher is played by three actresses: the young hopeful of the ’50s and ’60s, the glam pop star of the seventies and the icon of the ’80s and ’90s, proving that fads come and go, but Cher is forever.

Studio Night: Beauty in Seeing
Kansas City-based artist Hannah Lindo will guide participants through instruction and live demonstration during this evening of figure drawing while making connections to the works in the museum as well as their own. All levels of experience are welcome and all materials are provided, there will also be a cash bar.

Festa Italiana
Festa Italiana comes back to KC. Put on by the KC chapter of Italian American service organization UNICO, the event shamelessly targets residents’ stomachs, with the tagline: “Come for the Food … Stay for the Experience.” Aside from Italian food vendors, the street fair includes an Italian auto show, wine tastings, a live music stage and more. As a bonus, Friday night starts off with a meatball eating contest.

Hospital Hill Run
The 51st-annual half-marathon, 10k or 5k, Hospital Hill Run will be yet again causing traffic for a good cause. Thousands of runners will attempt to conquer the hill in the oldest road race in Kansas City—and one of the oldest half marathons in the country.

Strawberry Festival
Celebrate the beginning of summer at Independence’s Strawberry Festival at the Vaile Mansion and Arboretum. This ‘Victorian Fair’ features dozens of craft, antique and food booths, a Strawberry Booth selling berries and treats, and plants available for purchase at the nursery, along with tours of the mansion.

Tacos and Tequila
Tacos and Tequila returns for the fourth year for a day of tacos, tequila and throwbacks. Featuring music from T-Pain, Ashanti, Chamillionaire and more, along with Lucha Libre wrestling, a chihuahua beauty pageant, exotic car showcase, salsa & queso competition, art installations and of course, plenty of tacos and tequila.

A Walk on the Wild Side
At the Colonial Gardens Wine Walk, guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite tropical jungle attire while visiting various wine and spirits vendors in the gardens’ lush tropical oasis live music plays groovy beats to set the jungle mood. Cultivate Cafe will also be open with farm-to-table snacks, as well as Colonial Gardens’ greenhouse with tropical plants available for purchase.

KC Jurassic Farm
KC Pumpkin Patch is turning their farm into a Jurassic adventure with over 20 giant dinosaur replicas, photo ops and games. Food, drink, and wine slushies will also be available for purchase. The whimsical event also features over 30 attractions, including farm skee ball, roller ball, tike track and more.

Martini Corner Vintage Market
This summer community event features 30 vintage clothing vendors, coffee, pastries from bread of the month club, and Lucky 13 pet rescue will be bringing puppies for adoption.
