Earl’s Provisions (651 E 59th St.) & Sea Capitán Cocina Costera (5070 Main St.)

You Say Tomato (2801 Holmes St.)
After closing in 2023, Anne Clark decided to run a catering service out of her Midtown restaurant You Say Tomato. Now that the building’s new owner has guaranteed You Say Tomato can remain in business, after almost two years, Clark’s quirky eatery is opening to the public once again.

Closings
Danny Edwards (2900 Southwest Blvd.)
KC’s barbecue scene is losing a longtime staple. Southwest Boulevard’s Danny Edwards barbecue joint will close at the end of this month.
According to The Star, Owner Joel Bremer believes the building’s owner is selling it to From The Earth dispensary. Despite his restaurant closing, Bremer still plans on making barbecue.
“We’re going to cook from home for a while, and maybe sell out of a food truck,” Bremer told The Star. “And we might look into another brick-and-mortar. But we have to be out of here by the end of the month.”
