Thai Story  (14459 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS)

Pad Thai Restaurant, a beloved local restaurant since 2013, has announced it will be moving to a larger space and rebranding as Thai Story. The new restaurant will open just down the road from its current location in Overland Park and plans to open next spring (14459 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS).

Thai Story will have expanded seating, a greenhouse patio, new cocktails and even some grab-and-go options. While the name and space will change, the restaurant promises to continue making the quality flavors and dishes that Pad Thai customers have come to know and love.

“We’ll be keeping all of the staple dishes that people love from Pad Thai Restaurant, while also introducing new signature plates that we’ve never offered before,” says Ann Niramol Riensin, owner of Pad Thai Restaurant. “These dishes will be a modern twist on Thai food – things I grew up eating in Thailand, reimagined in a fresh and exciting way, and inspired by flavors from all across the country. Together, they’ll tell the next chapter of our journey as Thai Story.”

Pad Thai Restaurant will remain open during Thai Story’s construction.
