Kansas City magazine’s annual Best of KC issue publishes every August, offering both our editors picks and the results of our popular readers poll.The process began with write-in nominations in mid-March for more than 300 categories. The top five in each category advanced to the finals. After one month of voting, and a rigorous fraud-detection process, the winners have been determined.Now, it’s time to celebrate the Best of KC.
