Edwin A. Cortez M.D., FACS is an internationally recognized Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is double board-certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, head and neck, as well as, non-surgical procedures including Botox®, filler injections and skin rejuvenation. Through extensive training and experience in the treatment of the aging face, Cortez has placed special emphasis on facelift surgery and facial skin rejuvenation. He is one of the leading authorities on the use of the Phenol-Croton Oil Peel, which is the only resurfacing method that can fully eradicate deep wrinkles, lines, brown spots while simultaneously tightening skin.
Cortez performs all surgical and non-invasive procedures in his office based certified facility. This facility is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, a nationally recognized accrediting organization that approves surgical facilities. Dr. Cortez’s philosophy of treating patients is to always create the natural look. He asks new patients to bring him photos from their younger years so he can identify what the patient really wants to modify.
