Just the right vibe at Vye

At Vye, a newish Crossroads venue, customers can enjoy a craft cocktail in a choice of intimate spots: Its first floor lounge with exposed brick walls and chandelier lighting, or rooftop deck and bar with views of downtown.

Vye Cocktail Lounge (2018 Main St.) also has a private event space on the second floor.

Vye makes its syrup in-house. Currently its most popular cocktails are the Espresso Martini (Grey Goose Vodka, Kahlúa, fresh-pressed espresso, vanilla brown sugar simple syrup, cinnamon and espresso beans), and the Lavender Lemon Drop (Absolut Citron, lemon juice, lavender syrup and lemon twist).

“On the Rocks” offerings include the Mariachi with Teremana tequila, peach puree, Cointreau, lime juice and a Tajin rim. It also has classic cocktails, beers and wine.

The fall cocktail menu will be introduced later this month.

Geno Mironov, general manager, said unnamed investors own Vye and the two-story building.  “We are very much going after a lounge and relaxed vibe rather than a bar or nightclub feel,” he says. “A place for people to relax and enjoy their time.”

Hours: 4 to 11 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays; 3 pm to 1:30 am, Fridays; 2 pm to 1:30 am, Saturdays; and 2 to 11 pm, Sundays. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Since its soft opening in April and grand opening in May, the event space has hosted birthday parties, sports team celebrations and business gatherings. This fall Vye will also be hosting a few weddings.

The Otten on Main previously operated in the spot and according to public records it was the same owners as Vye. Mironov declined to comment.
