To operate a photography booth out of a bus started as a way of differentiating themselves from other local photographers. The couple are Volkswagon enthusiasts, so they bought a bus and set to work. The Photo Bus (thephotobuskc.com) now operates across the country, with two brightly colored Volkswagens delivering photo booths straight to event venues. There are five packages available, including a “gif” booth and an enclosed vintage photo booth. Since establishing themselves in Kansas City, the DePriscos have been regulars at Boulevardia, Union Station’s Uncorked and the Nelson-Atkins’ Third Thursdays, among other events.
