Henry reached fame after appearing on reality shows Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry and Life After Death with Tyler Henry, highlighting his otherworldly spiritual talents. Now you have a chance to see him in person.

Greg Jones, British producer and artist behind electronic dance music DJ G Jones has steadily gained popularity among EDM music lovers in recent years. G Jones fuses house, dubstep and trap, among other genres to create a unique sound that has influenced UK bass and acid house, helping in creating a cohesive aesthetic of monochromatic and early-2000s neo-retro imagery.

Emo Nite 

Beginning as a throwback night in 2014 in Los Angeles, Emo Nite became wildly popular with aging millennials. The now-national tour plays hits from early 2000’s pop-punk bands like Fallout Boy and Paramore for the generation who wants to scream out their favorite angsty lyrics because they will never be able to afford to buy their own home.

“Journey Home” Starring Joyce DiDonato

The Kansas City Symphony presents “Journey Home” starring mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato with conductor Michael Stern. This classical concert’s theme is travel, and the pieces focus on the emotions that surround leaving, being lost and finding the way back home. There will also be souvenirs available, themed cocktails and personalized photo postcards to share with friends and family near or far.

KC Restaurant Week

Celebrate KC’s premier dining event at hundreds of restaurants throughout the metro. Show your support for KC’s restaurant industry and savor some of the best food the city has to offer at KC restaurant week, with special menu offerings throughout the week. A portion of all proceeds will go to local charities too.

Kansas City Tattoo Expo 

The inaugural Kansas City Tattoo Expo will be hosted by the tattoo reality competition show Ink Masters. All weekend there will be live tattooing and body piercings by nearly 100 award-winning tattoo artists and piercers, ranging in style from realism to traditional to new school. There will also be raffle giveaways with free tattoos by the artist of your choice.

Steve Trevino is a stand-up comedian, writer, and self-proclaimed “America’s Favorite Husband.” His nearly sold-out weekend of shows will focus on his observations on fatherhood, husband-hood and modern life.

Monster Jam

Sometimes you want to go to the opera. Sometimes you just need to watch oversized Matchbox cars tumble over each other in the dirt. And that’s okay. Life is about balance.

Women of Note in Words and Song

This collaborative performance brings together the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival and the Bach Aria Soloists for an all-female program featuring riveting scenes from Shakespeare classics like Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
