Your local guide to Super Bowl treats and game day eats

Betty Rae's Chiefscake Ice Cream

As Kansas City anxiously awaits to see our beloved Chiefs on the big screen this weekend, our local creators and businesses have been busy whipping up Super Bowl treats to help us celebrate the big day.

From red and gold artisan bonbons to cakes decorated with T-Swift, we’ve rounded up these game-day treats and Chiefs-themed eats to help you settle into the team spirit until we hear those sweet words, “TOUCHDOWN, KANSAS CITY!”

Dolce Bakery

This baked-from-scratch Italian bakery in the Prairie Village shopping center offers a wide variety of game day desserts. Chiefs sugar cookies and red and gold Taylor Swift-themed cakes are just a few of the dazzling treats available. Place your preorders by Feb. 5.

Mr. D’s is offering Chiefs-themed donuts, some with the likeliness of Patrick Mahomes with chocolate shavings for his hair, and others with the arrowhead symbol, or gameday jersey. These specialty donuts are available all week. Head to the website to place your order.

Italian Sausage Company

The Gladstone-based sandwich shop has outdone themselves with the ideal Super Bowl Party deli sandwich, The Jabroni. The three-foot-long sub can feed up to 15 to 18 people and be dressed as sandwiches from their regular menu, such as the oh-so-popular #7, for $89.99.

Party trays are also available. The trays can feed up to 15 people and are $80.00. Italian Sausage Co. will also have a few of their Arrowhead menu items available like Italian nachos, mozzarella sticks as big as your face and some football-themed sweet treats.

Call 816-832-8305 to place your order by Friday.
