The Overland Park Farmers’ Market connects small farmers from the area with food lovers in a vibrant public space in the center of OP’s quaint downtown. The market at 7950 Marty Street runs both Wednesday and Saturday mornings, beginning at 7:30 am and going through the lunch hour.
Among the regular sellers at this large and diverse market, you’ll find everything from kombucha to strip steaks ready to toss on the grill. (There’s a full vendor list here.)
But some other offerings are more fleeting, coming for just a few weeks at the height of the growing season and then disappearing for a year. If you don’t strike while the iron is hot, you’ll have a long wait.
Finally, local berry season has arrived. Here’s what’s new to the Overland Park Farmers’ Market week—including the long-awaited debut of some sommer favorites that just arrived this past Saturday.
- Blueberries
- Blackberries
- Cherries
- Apricots
- Green beans
Coming this Saturday, June 25 is the first pick of sweet corn for the season.
